LOCAL SPOTLIGHT
Eden Vardy – Director, Aspen T.R.E.E.

As a child, Israeli-born Eden Vardy wanted to know where his food came from. After completing his studies, which included a Green Apprenticeship at Kibbutz Lotan in Israel, Eden founded Aspen T.R.E.E. (Together Regenerating the Environment through Education) to resolve the disconnect between modern society and its food sources and educate the Aspen community about sustainable living – from edible gardens and compost systems, to high-altitude ecological farming and integrated livestock management.
