Project Overview

Founded in the early 1990’s by their visionary leader, Douglas McMeekin, Yachana has become highly respected around the world for its leadership in instilling local empowerment for indigenous communities through education. From building schools to a community health clinic, Yachana changes the lives of local communities by giving them the educational tools they need to be successful in life.
