Project Overview

A luxury safari lodge and working farm located on the forested slopes of the wildlife rich 3,200 square mile Ngorongoro Conservation Area that embraces environmentally and socially responsible practices in every level of their operations.

  • Tanzania’s largest solar water heating system -90% of their water is now heated by solar power, cutting down on firewood consumption by about 50%
  • Sustainable building practices that leverage the skills and know how of the local community  - virtually all building materials are salvaged and reused, including cement, roofing sheets and timber.
