Make your vacation a great primate escape: Rwanda’s Tourism Office (ORTPN) is a busy place – their responsibilities include national parks management and conservation as well as the promotion of tourism and cultural heritage. ORTPN is growing sustainable ecotourism by evolving existing one-stop gorilla tourism in Rwanda’s north into multi-stop primate tours that include bio-diverse Nyungwe National Park in the south – the largest mountain rain forest in Africa , home to 13 species of primate, offering chimpanzee tracking and visits to troops of L’Hoest’s, Angola Collobus, Mangaby and Blue Monkey.
