Project Overview
The new multi-day hiking adventure available in Table Mountain National Park with Hoerikwaggo Trails is the secret gem of Cape Town, South Africa that lets you experience world class adventure that’s a world away from the city – right inside the city limits. Offering miles of breathtaking trails through an incredibly bio-diverse landscape, this Natural World Heritage Site received environmentally friendly upgrades to services and facilities while providing on the job training and employment to hundreds of impoverished South Africans. Innovative recruitment coupled with and intensive guide training program has brought the first black guides to Table Mountain National Park who are flourishing as interpreters and ambassadors to this remarkable region.
